# Prediction Markets

Prediction Markets is Programmable's open-source Uniswap v4 launch model for onchain outcome markets.

[Open Prediction Markets](https://programmable.market/markets)

## Current release

The [canonical Prediction Markets repository](https://github.com/0xprogrammable/programmable-prediction-markets) is the source of truth for the active protocol release. It defines:

* Current networks and supported market types.
* Collateral and activation rules.
* Fees, recipients and creator rewards.
* Trading, resolution and payout rules.
* Contract addresses, verified source and release evidence.

Check that repository before creating, trading, integrating or describing a market. Do not copy addresses, economics or resolution details from this overview.

## Boundaries

A visible market, verified source or passing test does not guarantee liquidity, execution at a chosen price, support in another application or safety. Outcome assets can lose all value. Follow the current security and integration guidance in the canonical repository.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://programmable.market/docs/tokens/prediction-markets.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
